.....Now there's a party that worries me.

'Question Time' aside I've been reading the BNP webpage and all their talk of ethnic cleansing and 'ethnic middle-calls liberals' (to put it in the nicest way that they did) makes me wonder how we let this party slip through our line of vision for so long.

Nick Griffin says homosexuals kissing are really creepy; I say him and the BNP are the creepy ones.

"10 Reasons Why "Gay Marriage is Wrong"

1) Being gay is not natural.

And real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning, tattoos, piercings and silicone breasts.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay.

In the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior.

People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract. Lamps are next.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all.

Hence why women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed.

And we can't let the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children.

So therefore, gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our population isn't out of control, our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children.

Since, of course, straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion.

In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

(Did I miss the lesson where Jesus says He hates gays?)

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home.

Which is exactly why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms.

Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Re-post this if you believe love makes a marriage.

I am a human for human rights. What's so wrong with wanting equal rights for everyone?

What is your age.

As it is I feel tired, very very tired, and hot as well; all of a sudden I'll just get these hot flashes and I'll just feel like my forehead is on fire. My partner's noticed this for three-ish days now.

For the past two days it's been very hard to wake up in the mornings, and I'm more inclined to drift in and out of consciousness without even thinking about it, let alone thinknig about getting up.

Today in my lecture I got a really hot flash and I just felt so dizzy and light stomached while, at the same time, feeling so heavy in my head. Poor Liz (otherwise known as the talented deviant [link] )got all worried about me; sorry dear.

I had to go home after the lecture instead of go to my museum internship which really sucks; but I've got my lovely Lecturer to take notes for me and I will be meeting up with her for a tutorial to recap. I hate being behind in anything, if I can I usually avoid sick days so I'm feeling kind of crestfallen at the moment.

I'm home now and kind of in between flashes of heat and dizzy spells but I don't want to waste the day.
Plans for the rest of the day include sorting out my laptop (putting everything from my old laptop onto the new one) and perhaps drawing. If I do feel like I need to collapse or take a rest at least I have a comfy bed handy right behind me (hooray for student accomodations!).

I've ommited red at from my diet lately (I've been in a pasta/ravioli mood for like two weeks) so I'm not ruling this out for a reason. As such a juicy fillet steak awaits me for dinner to night. I hoping it's nothing too serious as my doctors is loacted 1hr 30mins away ;_;

Wish me luck on a speedy recovery!

DLF.
